Turret Stakes is an Upgrade Item that allows players to plant Turrets and Scarecrows on hard crust.
General Description
Upon being picked up, all of the player's 
Turrets and 
Scarecrows will be able to be deployed on Hard Crust. This includes the 
Curret.
This effectively allows the player the ability to deploy these defenses nearly anywhere on the Farm. This in turn can provide further utility in the form of placing them further away, which can be helpful against Enemies that attack from a distance, such as the Sniper Bundit. Furthermore, the player can place Turrets and Scarecrows on the surrounding hard crust close to Crops in favor of placing them on tilled spaces. This can be used to preserve that tilled space in order to use it for farming.
Comparison
Compared to all other Items, Turret Stakes is the only one capable of providing more versatility in the placement of Turrets and Scarecrows. This benefit provides it with inherit value in that regard.
