Swine Turret Tumors is an Item that puts Turrets on the backs of Pigs.
General Description[ | ]
Swine Turret Tumors is an Item that can be found within common locations, including choice enemy Camps, given by Spouses, and rarely as a reward from Seasonal Festivals. Upon being picked up, all of the players current and future Pigs and Hogs will have Turrets on their backs. These preform similarly to basic Turrets, however they have the advantage of being portable. Likewise, these also benefit from any Turret upgrades the player has.
Comparison[ | ]
Compared to Turrets, Swine Turret Tumors are generally stronger. This is due to how they are mobile by definition and do not occupy space on the player's Soil. In addition, Swine Tumors benefit from all of the same upgrades that Turrets do. Both of these matters combined can make Swine Turret Tumors superior to Turrets in nearly every regard. However, a potential disadvantage is how the player will be limited in their ability to control where exactly their Pigs, and in this this defense method, are near. This in turn can make it difficult to prioritize automated defense in areas that need it more than others. In addition, the player may have a more difficult time acquiring Pigs than Turrets, and as such may be unable to utilize this Item to its fullest effect. Because of this, Swine Turret Tumors is situational based upon the players availability of Pigs, but remains strong should the player have many of them.
