Roaches are a type of Enemy in Atomicrops.
General Information[ | ]
Roaches are an enemy which appear in all eight Biome areas. The regular roach enemy appears in the first sections of all biomes, while its upgraded version appears in all second sections.
Behavior[ | ]
Roaches do not spawn in Camps: rather they wander around the biomes periodically firing a single bullet at the player.
Their movements are random and can be difficult to predict, as they tend to dart around and stop suddenly. This, along with their small size, means that they can sometimes be difficult to see, or they can get in the way while trying to clear out a camp. However they do not deal contact damage.
Difficulty scaling[ | ]
The max health of roaches does not change with the Year, although like many enemies, the speed of their bullets increases.

Roach Killer instantly kills all roaches within a 4x4 radius of the player. However, any bullets shot by roaches outside this radius can still pass through and deal damage.
