Lard is an Item that decreases Enemy bullet speeds.

Lard is an Item that can be found within common locations, including choice enemy Camps, given by Spouses, and rarely as a reward from Seasonal Festivals. Upon being picked up, all bullet speeds from Enemies will be decreased by 20%.
Comparison[ | ]
Compared to other Items, Lard is one of the only ones that directly decreases Enemy bullet speeds, with the only other current option being Psychoactive Weeds. However, unlike Psychoactive Weeds, Lard does not rely on a timer nor the collection of pickups in order to function. Instead, it will work constantly and will never be hindered by any other variables. Despite this, Lard will not provide the speed boost Psychoactive Weeds grants, perhaps making the latter superior to the former in that regard.

- Doom and Bloom: Lard moved to the normal Item pool instead of the Spouse Item pool.
- Feline Good: Lard reduces enemy bullet speeds by 20% instead of 30%.
- Feline Good: Lard in conjunction with Psychoactive Weeds will no longer reduce Enemy bullet speeds to nearly zero.
