Garden Cry is an Item that energizes all friends when the player takes damage.

Garden Cry is an Item that can be found within common locations, including choice enemy Camps, given by Spouses, and rarely as a reward from Seasonal Festivals. Upon being picked up, whenever the player takes damage all of their friends will immediately become fully energized.
Comparison[ | ]
Compared to other means of energizing friends, Garden Cry is among the fastest, due to having an immediate effect. In addition, it does not rely on other Items or a cooldown in the case of the Motivator. This can make Garden Cry superior to those Items in that regard. This can be further enhanced with damage-incentivizing items like Hotwire. However, because of how this Item only functions upon taking damage the player will have to weigh losing health intentionally against its benefits. Should the player not have much health to spare they may not desire to utilize this Item. This can make it especially less helpful as Thyme, and even more so with Items that terminate when taking damage like Hamsters and Irrigating Moles. Because of this, Garden Cry may be best seen as a benefit for accidently taking damage.
