Dovecote is a Golden Pupa loot Item that gives the player a free Scroll everyday.

Dovecote is an Item that can only be found in the form of Golden Pupa loot. Upon being picked up, a birdhouse will appear next to the player's well on the Farm. This birdhouse will provide a free Scroll at the beginning of each new day. The specific strength of the Scroll that is dropped is dependent on the current Season the player is on. While in Spring, the player can only receive Pigeon Scrolls. However, beginning at the start of Summer Dove Scrolls can appear as well. Furthermore, beginning at the start of Fall Hawk Scrolls can appear as well.

Compared to other Items, Dovecote is the only one that provides an additional source of Scrolls. In addition, this Item is extremely reliable in its delivery, due to being guaranteed to provide one Scroll each day. This can make it much easier to obtain Scrolls rather than getting them from clearing Camps or purchasing them from the Rose Market in exchange for Roses. However, due to this Item's random nature, players night not always receive the specific Scroll they desire. This is only coupled by the fact that later on in the run weaker Scrolls are less useful overall. This can potentially make the traditional means of obtaining Scrolls more useful in that regard.
