Players will be able to grow multiple types of mutated crops in Atomicrops.
+
The player grows a multitudinous variety of mutated Atomicrops.

  +
Seeds can be found in the Biomes and on the Farm. There is a chance for seeds to be dropped when:
  +
*Cutting Weeds (more likely if the player has Succulent Weeds)
  +
*Harvesting a crop (more likely if the player has Fertilseed Pro)
  +
*Watering a plant (if the player has Thankful Crops)
  +
*Tilling Soil (if the player has Fat Grub
  +
*Killing an Enemy
  +
**Chance increased if killing Beeson
  +
**Chance increased if using the Flying Squirrels Weapon, or the Squirrel Pocket item
  +
  +
Seeds are guaranteed to be found in certain enemy Camps found in all biomes:
  +
*Clearing a Squirrel Camp drops 1-5 seeds, with a low chance for Sunflower or Pumpkin seeds
  +
*Clearing a Bulb camp drops 1-5 seeds, with a moderate chance for rare seeds (Sunflower, Pumpkin, Heart Beet or Rose) or a Fruit Tree sapling.
  +
*Defeating a Tree Monster will open a Golden Pupa bulb, which will always include one rare seed (Sunflower, Pumpkin, Heart Beet or Rose) or a Fruit Tree sapling.
  +
*The Daily Orchard upgrade gives the player one random Fruit Tree sapling each day.
  +
  +
The player will always start with 4 Potato seeds in the Farm basket, with more available to those who have unlocked the relevant Home Improvements.
  +
  +
Seeds also have a chance to be sold in the Garden Shop in Town. There are eight different kinds of seed bags: a Bronze and Silver version for each Biome. Bronze seed bags contain those seeds found in the biome's first section (Tier 1), whereas Silver seed bags contain those found in the biome's second section (Tier 2).<br>Pumpkin and Sunflower seeds have a chance to be found in any Silver seed bag.
  +
  +
Rose and Heart Beet seeds also have their own special locations: see those individual pages for more details on obtaining.
  +
  +
Using Seeds
  +
The player's seeds can be see in the Seed Inventory, located on the left-hand side of the screen. They cannot be viewed in the player's other (paused) Inventory, meaning that the player has to balance selecting and planting seeds with fighting Enemies.
  +
  +
Seeds must be planted in tilled Soil that is clear of Weeds, and take up one tile of soil each (with the exception of Fruit Tree saplings, which require a 2x2 square of tilled soil). Crops can be fertilized with Fertilizer to increase their value, which the player can do at any time before harvest. If four identical crops are planted in a 2x2 square, and each crop is fertilized, they will merge to form a Megacrop. Megacrops are significantly more valuable than regular crops, and can themselves be fertilized further to be worth even more.
  +
  +
Once planted, crops must be watered at every stage of growth, with Desert and Tundra seeds requiring less water (but taking a longer time to grow) and Plains and Jungle seeds requiring more water (but growing more quickly). Megacrops generally take twice as long to water as their regular variants. The player must also defend their crops from Enemies such as Slugs which will try to eat them, or from fire which will destroy them. When fully grown, crops will have a jumping animation, and can then be harvested.
  +
  +
Different kinds of Farm Animals can assist the player in growing crops: Cows, for example, are able to water them.
  +
  +
List of Crops
  +
Most crops are sold for Cashews, the money being automatically added to the player's total on harvest.

Crop Durability is a system that is hidden from the player. It determines how long a given Crop lasts until being completely destroyed through being eaten or by being set on fire. The given amount of time a Crop will last is affected by its size and the current Year the player is playing on, with higher Years having Crops be destroyed faster. Note that none of the following information applies to Defenses, as they cannot be eaten.

  +
Crops Being Eaten
  +
Crop can be eaten by certain Enemies, including Slugs and Locusts. Each time a Crop eater takes a bite out of a Crop that given Crop's remaining durability will be reduced. All Crop eaters consume Crops at the same rate regardless of any of their individual attributes. The size of the Crop determines how long its durability is, with bigger Crops lasting much longer than smaller ones. All Crops of a given size have the same durability value; that is to say, a small Pumpkin will be consumed at the same rate as a small Prickly Pear. Crops cannot be healed through any means, including watering them or merging them to create a Megacrop. Similarly, the damage a given Crop takes carries over between all days and Seasons. Note that the following information is assuming that only a single Crop eater is continuously consuming a Crop. Multiple Crop eaters munching on the same Crop will destroy it much faster as a result. In addition, all of the following values are in seconds and are rounded to the nearest tenth for simplicity. For Fire Slugs, note that they will destroy Crops faster than the listed data due to both eating them and setting them on fire at the same time.

This article is a stub. You can help Atomicrops Wiki by expanding it.

The player grows a multitudinous variety of mutated Atomicrops.

Seeds

Obtaining Seeds

Seeds can be found in the Biomes and on the Farm. There is a chance for seeds to be dropped when:

Seeds are guaranteed to be found in certain enemy Camps found in all biomes:

The player will always start with 4 Potato seeds in the Farm basket, with more available to those who have unlocked the relevant Home Improvements.

Seeds also have a chance to be sold in the Garden Shop in Town. There are eight different kinds of seed bags: a Bronze and Silver version for each Biome. Bronze seed bags contain those seeds found in the biome's first section (Tier 1), whereas Silver seed bags contain those found in the biome's second section (Tier 2).
Pumpkin and Sunflower seeds have a chance to be found in any Silver seed bag.

Rose and Heart Beet seeds also have their own special locations: see those individual pages for more details on obtaining.

Using Seeds

The player's seeds can be see in the Seed Inventory, located on the left-hand side of the screen. They cannot be viewed in the player's other (paused) Inventory, meaning that the player has to balance selecting and planting seeds with fighting Enemies.

Seeds must be planted in tilled Soil that is clear of Weeds, and take up one tile of soil each (with the exception of Fruit Tree saplings, which require a 2x2 square of tilled soil). Crops can be fertilized with Fertilizer Fertilizer to increase their value, which the player can do at any time before harvest. If four identical crops are planted in a 2x2 square, and each crop is fertilized, they will merge to form a Megacrop. Megacrops are significantly more valuable than regular crops, and can themselves be fertilized further to be worth even more.

Different kinds of Farm Animals can assist the player in growing crops: Cows, for example, are able to water them.

List of Crops

Most crops are sold for Cashews, the money being automatically added to the player's total on harvest.

Fruit Trees

Fruit Tree saplings are a rarer kind of seed, which require a space of 2x2 tiles each to be planted. However, they will remain after harvesting, making them a potentially infinite source of fruit.
All trees can be planted together in a 2x2 arrangement and fertilized to form a Mega Tree.

These are special crops which do not pay out in Cashews, but have other important uses within the game.
See the individual pages for information on finding these seeds.

Name Image Description Megacrop Benefits
Seeds Rose Small Rose
Rose
Harvested Roses contribute towards the player's RoseIcon Rose currency. Roses can be used to purchase Items at the Rose Market, or given to potential Spouses in exchange for Items and to pursue romance. One Heart Beet seed per day can also be bought in Town, starting at a cost of 1 RoseIcon and increasing linearly.
Roses cannot be fertilized, and merge into a megacrop instantly if planted in a 2x2 square.
Grants an extra Rose
Seeds HeartBeet Small Heart Beet
HeartBeetYieldS 0
Heart Beets are used to represent the player's HeartBeetFull Health, and each harvested heart beet restores one unit of HeartBeetEmpty lost health.
Fertilizing a Heart Beet plant increases the chance of obtaining a HeartSprout Heart Sprout on harvest, and collecting four will increase the player's max Health by one.
Grants an extra Heart Beet, and two Heart Sprouts

Defenses

These are not crops, but they are stored in the player's Seed Inventory, and must be "planted" on the Farm in the same way.
Defenses work instantly when planted, do not need water, cannot be fertilized and cannot be transformed into Megacrops.
